In July of 2019 I was truly at a crossroads. I had been limited to a wheelchair for over 2 years and my surgeon would not allow a third hip replacement until I stayed clean and sober for one year. I have struggled for nearly 20 years with the revolving door of inpatient rehabilitation centers. FreedomWorks was “where the revolving door stopped!”
After arriving at FreedomWorks and attending outpatient treatment, I was able to finally put together the most recovery time I’ve ever had… 14 months!! Even better, my surgeon allowed me to have my 3rd and final hip replacement 6 months early.
I am amazed at the generosity that God provides those in need. I have been walking without any assistance for 6 months now. I’ve been able to get my driver’s license back after not having it for nearly 10 years and my relationship with my children and family is the best it’s been in over 15 years.
