Amazing Grace

Dec 8, 2022

Richard came to FreedomWorks last December in one of our Treatment programs.  He was quick to fit into our community and had a giving spirit that wanted to restore the years lost to walking in selfishness.  After about 5 months he started seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord and becoming financially independent, so he enrolled in the Reentry & Aftercare program.

Over the summer, Richard’s eyes were opened in a close encounter with death.  He will be the first one to tell you that he only survived a drive-by shooting at a convenient store because of the grace of God.  Since then, everything really started coming together with God for him.  Richard has begun rebuilding relationships with family and friends, letting God do the work.  He now has a hope for the future that he never had before.  It’s been such a blessing to see the Spirit come alive in this man.  Truly, he is a new creation!!
